1. Use advanced search button for better and precise result.
2. To make Google Search for Bollywood or hollywood , type Bollywood | Hollywood.
3. Instead of OR you can type the | symbol, like right | wrong.
4. Boolean connectors like AND and OR are case-sensitive. They must be upper case.
5. To look for phrases, put the string in quotes : ” love is life” .
6. To make search for Synonym words or find related terms and documents use tilde symbol before your keyboard, like this : ~ dangerous.
7. To exclude specific keyword from the search result use minus operator: program -C++.
8. Common words, like I, and, then and if are ignored by Google. These are called “stop words”.
9. The plus operator makes sure stop words are included.
Like: he+and+she.
10. To search specific filetype using the modifier filetype:[filetype:extension]. For example: programming:pdf.
11. To exclude entire file types, type like: scripting -filetype.pdf.
12. To search specific titled pages use intitile. Like intitle:hacking.
13. If you are searching for files rather than pages – type index of as the intitle:.
14. The modifier “inurl” only searches the web address of a page: type inurl:bot.
15 . To find live webcams by typing inurl:view/view.shtml.
16. If you want to know that how many links there are to a site? Try link:sitename – for example link:www.mozilla.org.
17. Similarly, you can find pages that Google thinks are related in content, using the related: modifier. Use it like this: related:www.microsoft.com
18. The modifier info:site_name returns information about the specified page.
19. If you are looking for some old website you can directly search in google cache.Try cache:slashdot.org.
20. Looking for definations? Try “define” . For example define:watt.
21. Google can be used as a Calculator. Try this (100+8434*23-21=).
To find out square root of 542 type – (sqrt(542)).
22 you can convert currency , metrics, bytes using google, like –

23. Remove affiliate links from product searches use -site:.
For example-
-site:songs.pk
-site:shopping.com
-site:ebay.com
